This study aimed to calculate the carbon footprint (CF) of milk production using life cycle analysis and to conduct economic and environmental assessment (EEA) through modeling of the implementation of silvopastoral systems (SSP) and the use of multi-nutrient blocks (BMN) on small livestock farms in the Peruvian humid tropics. The methodology used included equations from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change of 2019 (Levels 1 and 2), as well as a discounted cash flow analysis, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit/Cost Ratio (BCR), and Agrosilvopastoral Software v. 19.1. The CF varied depending on the allocation approach (mass and economic). With mass allocation, it was 2.14 ± 0.16 kg CO2e/kg of corrected milk to fat and protein (CMFP), and with economic allocation, it reached 1.46 ± 0.12 kg CO2e/kg CMFP. Methane emissions from enteric fermentation were the main greenhouse gas source, followed by manure management nitrous oxide emissions. In the EEA, silvopastoral scenarios, especially on larger farms (30 ha), stood out with a positive NPV and a profitable IRR (14.56%). Furthermore, implementing SSP reduced methane emissions (18.80%) and increased carbon sequestration (26.36%). The BMN strategy also proved efficient, with a positive NPV and a profitable IRR (22.39%) and reducing enteric methane emission intensity (3.09%).
