The main objective of this work is the redesign of an irrigation system for the cultivation of Hass avocado in Nepeña, Santa-Ancash, with a focus on the reuse of elements installed in an existing irrigation system for cane cultivation, and the efficiency energy of the new pumping subsystem. The project started with the agronomic design to define the user requirements and the selection of the D5000 emitter to plan irrigation in two stages of the system. Subsequently, a hydraulic design was carried out using IRRICAD, which involved the selection of field pipes and valves, as well as the sizing of filters, manifold and valves for the header. Then, considering the operational requirements calculated for each irrigation stage and shift, the most appropriate scenario for selecting the pumping system was identified and the type of operation was determined by implementing a frequency converter. This choice allowed us to carry out a comparative evaluation of the energy savings in contrast to the operation with another type of start for the pumping motor, developing an energy analysis within a time interval established in 5 years, the savings were S/ 177,557.26 , implementing an additional cost of S/ 28,500 for the VDF system. In terms of automation, to control field valves via radio frequency, the G5 RF interface was used, evaluating the line of sight between the RTUs and the master antenna, while in the head an AC control interface was used for the inputs. and digital outputs, along with an ANA interface for sensorization, achieving pressure readings and electrical variables transmitted by a network analyzer. Finally, the operational logic was implemented within the controller to control the operation of the irrigation system.
