The present research study was carried out with the purpose of analyzing the relationship between the quality of service and the institutional image of the Professional School of Systems Engineering of the Andean University of Cusco- 2018. The methodology used in the realization of the thesis was a quantitative approach. With a level of descriptive study, correlational. The research design corresponds to the non-experimental correlational transversal type. The population was constituted by 445 students of the Professional School of Systems Engineering of the Andean University of Cusco in 2018, a sample size was determined that was represented by 207 students to whom a questionnaire of both variables was applied, the test reliability was performed with 20 respondents, where a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.916 was reached for the quality of service variable and 0.757, for the institutional image variable, whit an acceptable level. Regarding the results, it was evidenced that the variables of study quality of service and the institutional image maintain a direct relationship perceived by the students of the Professional School of Systems Engineering of the Andean University of Cusco in 2018, with the significance of (p = 0.000 <0.05) and Kendall's Tau_b = 0.548. Obtaining the following conclusions: 56% of the quality of service is good, but there is a 17.9% of students who perceive that it is fair to bad, the institutional image is good in 62%, but there is 22.7% of students who perceive that it is fair to bad and, the dimensions of the quality of service are directly related with the institutional image.
