In the position of information processing analyst in the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, the following functions were performed: support in the calculation of indicators, generate reports with the databases of health-related sectors, education and water, and provide technical assistance to the Performance Stimulation and Achievement of Social Results Fund. In the last five years, many tasks were developed that could be properly performed with the contents of the following courses: Applied Statistics, Sampling Techniques, Databases and Multivariate Techniques. In the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, in the area Performance Stimulation and Achievement of Social Results Fund, until 2019, there was no methodology capable of reducing the large number of indicators related to Early Childhood Development, in order to be used subsequently for the calculation of monetary incentives to regional governments. In this area, thematic specialists in health, water and education were available to explain the purpose and usefulness of each indicator, but they only had their own criteria and experience in selecting indicators. Therefore, assessing the need for the area, it was decided to carry out an exploratory factor analysis, using water, education and health indicators published by the National Institute of Statistics and Information related to Early Childhood Development, which produced a small number of indicators with a technical basis. The monographic work is divided into six parts, once presented the introduction will be passed to the theoretical framework, followed by the methodological framework, subsequently, the results and discussion, then the conclusions and recommendations and finally the bibliographic references.
