In order to design such a program, the starting point was to prepare the initial diagnosis of the Chemistry and Physics laboratories, using the checklist of Ministerial Resolution 050- 2013-TR, which includes compliance with the guidelines of the Safety Management System and Health at Work in its 8 sections (commitment and involvement, occupational safety and health policy, planning and implementation, implementation and operation, regulatory evaluation, verification, control of information and document finally review by management), processing 114 items, including that it was determined that only 22,8% are met by December 2015. Therefore, there is no any Safety Management System and Health at Work to protect participants and form a culture of prevention. According to the information gathering and on-site verification processes and activities have been determined, in each laboratory, with that information it has been made the identification and risk assessment (IRA) as a result of the aforementioned assessments it was determined that the 85,7% of the activities carried out in the Chemistry laboratory and the 79,2% of the activities carried out in the Physics Laboratory show a significant risk. Thus; both laboratories lack of controlled environment for the performance of the various activities. Therefore, the proposal of a program based on risk analysis for the prevention of accidents in the laboratories of Chemistry and Physics, is a starting point to have a risk prevention program, where all the documentation of the Management System Safety and Health at Work, should be developed in response to the needs of the Chemistry and Physics laboratories of the University of Sciences and Humanities, based on real information and in that documentation, complies with the guidelines established in Law No. 29783-law of safety and health at work.
