Valoración económica del servicio recreativo del Parque Mariscal Ramón Castilla a partir del método de valoración contingente

Abstract

El presente trabajo se desarrolló en el Área de Reserva Ambiental o ARA Parque Mariscal Castilla. Teniendo como objetivo de estudio la estimación de la disposición a pagar por parte de los vecinos usuarios para participar en la conservación del parque y obtener información sobre las características de los usuarios y su relación con el parque. Se aplicó la metodología de valoración contingente (MVC) elaborándose dos encuestas: una piloto para conocer las expectativas de la población muestral y la encuesta final donde se amplió las preguntas a identificar el grupo de edad de los usuarios, el nivel de confianza en la administración del ARA y la valoración económica. Se encuestaron 450 personas que visitan el ARA. Los resultados muestran que los visitantes en su mayoría son residentes del distrito, la mayoría de la población es adulta con un 29% entre los 46 y 55 años; el 43.9% de la población encuestada asiste al ARA para realizar ejercicios y otro gran porcentaje para pasear a sus perros. A sí mismo, se identificó una gran aceptación a la DAP con el 92.7% estimando un monto promedio anual de S/ 16.21 soles por habitante del distrito y usuario directo del Área de Reserva Ambiental “Parque Ramón Mariscal Castilla”; y el 87.1% de la población tiene un descontento y desconfianza por la administración que tiene la municipalidad en el ARA. Finalmente, se muestra la importancia de la valoración económica como una herramienta técnica de gestión para la eficacia en la calidad de servicio y el uso eficiente los recursos destinados al mantenimiento de la cobertura vegetal, el equipamiento, las instalaciones y calidad de las áreas verdes que intervienen, todo ello, en función a desarrollar con eficiencia proyectos ambientales en el cual me desempeño.

The present work was developed in the ARA Parque Mariscal Castilla Environmental Reserve Area, with the objective of studying the estimation of the willingness to pay of the neighboring users in order to participate in the conservation of the park and obtain information on the characteristics of the users and their relationship with the park.
