The biology and behavior of Typhlodromus evectus, which was collected from vine plants, was carried out under the laboratory temperature and relative humidity conditions of the mite breeding room inside the “Klaus Raven Büller“ Museum of Entomology of the UNALM between the months of November 2018 and July 2019. For the evaluation of the mite, 6ounce plastic containers were used with a lid modified by a square hole of 1 cm on a side that was later covered with a piece of organza fabric of similar size, sponge was used as a base. circular with the diameter of the base of the tupperware, a paper towel cut to the same size as the sponge, and Acalypha wilkesiana leaf. The mites were fed with Ricinus communis pollen. The development cycle studies were at 25.4 ± 0.8ºC average temperature and 67 ± 3% average relative humidity, so the incubation period was 1.3 ± 0.6, the larval stage was 0.6 ± 0.2 days, the protonymph stage was 2.2±0.5 days, from the deutonymph stage it was 2.2±0.5 days, from egg to adult it was 6.2±0.5. The sex ratio was ♂1.4:1♀. The average number of eggs per female was 13 ± 2.3 at a rate of 0.5 egg per day and a viability of 94.6%. It was observed that the behavior of the larva is usually solitary and the food consumption was minimal, its nymphal stages were the most mobile and the adult had sexual dimorphism, in addition to needing an average of 4.7 hours on average for copulation in the first time.
