This work seeks to improve the conditions of mortgage loans for non-resident Peruvians in Peru, who day by day strive to get ahead and generally seek to support their family members residing in the country, who have many limitations of education, housing, health, etc. In this installment we focus on the housing deficit hoping to contribute to the benefit of our compatriots. The main problem is knowing how to identify the client who may be eligible for credit without any kind of problem before and during the credit, these could be generated internally and externally, events due to which the credit could fall, but the objective is to identify the client from the best way and cover those risks. We found some improvements to the product, which could be applied, such as eliminating the paperwork with original documentation from the country of residence, called work certificates, this and other improvements would make the product more flexible and beneficial for each client’s situation. We will define the base product of this study Mortgage Loan for non-resident Peruvians taking the Scotiabank Peru service as a reference and comparing it with one of the most representative banks such as Banco de Crédito del Peru, with updated data from INEI, MEF, etc.
