I am currently working on the vegetable research program at the La Molina National Agrarian University UNALM. THE program has installed a pressurized irrigation system of great relevance with the objective of reducing water consumption in agriculture, essential to face the future challenges of water scarcity and the need for sustainable management of water resources despite the modernization Pressurized irrigation implies achieving high efficiencies in its development and production. Under this premise, the evaluation of the irrigation system must be a routine procedure in order to correct failures in the irrigation system and provide a timely solution. In monitoring the pressurized system we must focus on evaluating irrigation efficiency by evaluating the variable water needs of production, application efficiencies, uniformity of the drip irrigation system in the sweet potato crop.
