To evaluate the impact of the activities for the restoration, the habitat and the community of hexapods in the ground were characterized in 10 parcels: 3 of reforestation (R1, R2, R3), 3 of agroforestry (A1, A2 and A3), 2 of pasture (P1 and P2), and 2 located inside the forest (B1 and B2), in the dry and humid time. According to the characteristics of the habitat, these were contained in 2 groups: “Alternative state 1” and “EA 2”, which was subdivided in EA2A and EA2B. The community of hexapods showed clearer patterns in the dry time, and also a higher quantity and wealth, including predators, parasitoids, mycetophagus, and saprophagus, which were presented in the group EA1. The abundance and the wealth of the groups EA2A and EA2B were lower and much more similar to each other, for which reason they were not separated into two groups. In the humid time, the same groupings were not presented, due to the perturbing effects of the rain on the hexapods. The results indicate that the restoration was successful for the parcels A1 and A3, whose habitat and communities of hexapods presented similar characteristics to the reference places B1 and B2. Also, the parcels of the group EA2B, evaluated after two years from their installation, indicated that it was very early to observe a recovery. In general, both groups EA1 and EA2 are found in different alternative stable states, while the groups EA2A and EA2B are in the same subsequent trajectory
