The present study was carried out to investigate the effect of two levels of cassava flour (10 and 20 percent) and the inclusion of mannan-oligosaccharides (0.05 percent) on performance and egg quality of laying hens. A total of 216 Hy-Line Brown laying hens, 46 weeks of age, were randomly distributed among 6 dietary treatments with 6 replicates of 6 hens each. The statistical model used was completely randomized blocks with 3x2 factorial arrangement with six treatments and six repetitions per treatment. The use of cassava flour at ten percent level without MOS in the diet of laying hens, allowed obtaining significantly better results in egg production, egg weight, egg mass and feed conversion, as well as economic retribution and economic merit. The nutrient intake (metabolizable energy, crude protein, lysine, methionine, methionine+cystine) was significantly higher with the diet without cassava flour and MOS
