Abstract: En este documento se presenta una visión general del proceso de crédito agrícola en El Valle del Chillón, Perú. El proceso se compone de varias etapas, que incluyen planificación, promoción, evaluación, aprobación, monitoreo y recuperación. Durante el proceso de evaluación crediticia, el analista de crédito agrícola evalúa la solvencia de los agricultores y determina su capacidad para cumplir con los requisitos necesarios para la aprobación del préstamo. En este sentido, una de las etapas cruciales del proceso de evaluación es la visita al campo agrícola, donde se recopila información relevante para la toma de decisiones. Además, es importante considerar la visita al domicilio y el trabajo en gabinete, donde se organiza y sistematiza la información recopilada y se realizan las evaluaciones económicas y financieras del cliente de manera minuciosa, con el objetivo de minimizar los riesgos. Por otro lado. es importante tener en cuenta que los riesgos en los créditos agrícolas deben ser considerados durante la evaluación, ya que existen varios factores que pueden afectar la producción, como las variaciones en los precios de los insumos y las cosechas, las plagas y enfermedades, el cambio climático, entre otros. Finalmente, La decisión sobre la aprobación o denegación del préstamo se toma en el comité de crédito, donde se presenta el caso del solicitante para su revisión.

In this sense, one of the crucial stages of the evaluation process is the visit to the agricultural field, where relevant information is collected for decision-making. Additionally, it is important to consider the home visit and desk work, where the collected information is organized and systematized, and the client's economic and financial evaluations are carried out meticulously, with the objective of minimizing risks. On the other hand, it is important to take into account that risks in agricultural credits must be considered during evaluation, as there are several factors that can affect production, such as variations in input and harvest prices, pests and diseases, climate change, among others. Finally, the decision on loan approval or denial is made in the credit committee, where the applicant's case is presented for review.
