This work was carried out at IRD Costa in the province of Cañete in Lima and aimed to determine the best dose for a better yield and increase the quality of the pickled chili fruit (Capsicum baccatum L. var. pendulum). Four doses of Sunny were evaluated, which has Uniconazole as active ingredient with 5% w/v / (50g L -1); which were 0.25 L ha-1 , 0.5 L ha1, 1.0 L ha-1 and a control treatment. A Completely Random Block Design was used with 5 blocks and 5 repetitions each, the planting distance was 1.2 x 0.4 m., with a density of 20833 plants ha -1. 4 harvests were carried out, evaluating the fruit set, number of fruits per plant, yield, fruit quality, plant height and percentage of dry matter. Fruit set, number of fruits per plant, plant height and total yield do not present significant differences. The Total Commercial production presented significant differences, being the Control treatment the one with the highest value (9.52 t ha-1). In the commercial production per harvest, significant differences were found in harvests N° 01, N° 02 and N° 04, obtaining the highest values in the treatments, Witness (3.74 t ha-1 ), Witness (3.31 t ha-1 ) and T3 (5.07 t ha-1 ) respectively. In the quality of the fruit, significant differences are observed in the length and width of the fruit in harvests N° 01 and N° 02, with treatments T1, T2 and T3 being wider, less long and with visible deformations, consequently they qualify as no commercials. In the percentage of dry matter per organ, significant differences were only found in the Stem, being the T3 treatment with the highest accumulation of solids. It is concluded that the application of Sunny deteriorates the quality of the fruit in its first harvests, however, no significant ifferences are obtained in the total production.
