The present investigation was carried out with the objective of determining the incidence of pests on the broccoli crop (Brassica oleracea var. Itálica) in the district of Santa Rosa de Quives in the province of Canta, department of Lima. The different stages of each insect were evaluated and recorded by buds, leaves and inflorescences; as well as the meteorological data and cultural work carried out. The evaluations were carried out weekly taking the data of buds, leaves by cardinal point and inflorescences. The investigation was carried out from May to July 2020. It was determined that Plutella xylostella (Linneo) had the highest incidence on broccoli, being present in all its phenological stages. This insect presented a higher population of larvae in the phenological stage of vegetative growth and it decreased while the inflorescence was being formed with a lower average temperature than average. In addition, other insects such as earthworms, Hellula phidilealis (Walker), Leptophobia aripa (Boisduval), Brevicoryne brassicae (Linneo) were found, which were controlled by applications more focused on Plutella xylostella (Linneo).
