This work is related to the author's professional experience in the General Directorate of Aquaculture (DGA) of the Ministry of Production (PRODUCE). This work applies the strategic planning tool on aquaculture extension actions at the national level carried out by the General Directorate of Aquaculture. It is important to determine the most efficient way to strengthen skills and bring knowledge to aquaculturists, with the aim of improving their quality of life, as well as directly contributing to the improvement of food security in the population and the growth of rural employment. There are studies of other countries where aquaculture extension is an important action for the development of this activity. The present work applies to the aquaculture extension the Logical Framework Methodology that has the power to communicate the objectives in a clear and understandable way in a single matrix; likewise, this strategic management instrument will contribute to its monitoring, control and evaluation. To carry out this work, information will be taken from the work experience, the official information contained in reports, publications and web pages of the Peruvian State and official international organizations.
