Currently, there is a trend in the population to consume low-calorie products, which are natural and beneficial to health in their daily intake. Stevia is a plant from tropical origin, which has sweetening properties and does not provide calories when ingested, additionally it has other properties which involve the treatment of chronic and non-chronic diseases. In Peru, it is a crop with great potential because it is ideally suited to the climatic conditions of the jungle and coast, which makes it a crop with great production potential. The practice of pruning Stevia leaves influences the concentration of steviol glycosides, which provide its sweetening property, and this is influenced by the nutrition provided. Therefore, the objective of the study was to evaluate the impact of pruning and different potassium concentrations under soilless culture conditions, having as base hydroponic nutrient solution the one formulated for vegetables crops by the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina for vegetables. An trial was conducted with 4 nutritional treatments, with a factor of presence or absence of pruning at the beginning of planting. The evaluation was carried out at the end of the cycle, prior to flowering, where data on leaf and root biomass were obtained; foliar analysis was also carried out to determine the concentration and absorption of mineral nutrients in leaves, and the concentration of two steviol glycosides (Rebaudioside A and Stevioside) was also determined in leaves. It was found that the treatments that were pruned showed an increase of 27 percent in the number of branches, as well as an additional 28 cm2 of leaf area; as for the concentration of steviol glycosides, 18 percent more was obtained with a concentration of 310 ppm
