The effect of chemical and biological inducers of resistance for the control of Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) of Bary, was evaluated in potato cultivar Yungay. The experiment was installed in Choten, Cajamarca. The treatments included applications of Trichoderma. harzianum and B. subtilis on tubers at the time of sowing and eight foliar applications with Ca phosphite, K and Mg, that began 49 days after sowing and with a frequency of ten days. The severity evaluations began the 63 days after sowing. With the obtained data the curve of progress of the disease was determined and the AUDPC. Severities were obtained from 0,2 to 1% from the second evaluation to 21,5 and 100% in the last evaluation. The treatments that better controlled the disease and that obtained the best yields were the T14 (Ca phosphite, K phosphite, Mg phosphite and T. harzianum), T7 (Ca phosphite, K phosphite and Mg phosphite) and T15 (Ca phosphite, K phosphite, Mg phosphite and B. subtilis), and T15 (Fosfito Ca, Fosfito K, Fosfito mg and B. subtilis) with 28,4 t/ha in average, also the treatments T9, T2 and T12; the control (T16) and T5 (B. subtilis) had higher level of disease and the lowest yield, 4,1 and 6,25 t/ha respectively. K phosphite was the chemical agent more important to handle the disease and has direct effect on the yield. The T4 treatment (Trichoderma harzianum) did not generate gain but it was far better that the phosphites of Ca and Mg
