Proceso de formalización general y asistencia técnica a productores de plantaciones forestales en la región San Martín, Perú

Abstract

El presente documento está basado en el desarrollo de actividades profesionales para cumplir con el registro de plantaciones forestales en la plataforma web del Registro Nacional de Plantaciones creado por SERFOR, con el objetivo de lograr la comercialización formal de maderas y evitar su venta ilegal en la región San Martín. Con esta actividad, se busca incrementar la productividad y legalidad del sector forestal, mostrando información actual, sobre las plantaciones. Para registrar las plantaciones, en primer lugar, se obtuvieron datos de campo necesarios para llenar los formatos de inscripción. Además, se brindó asistencia técnica en tratamientos silviculturales para que los productores obtengan mayor volumen y buena calidad de madera. El resultado más relevante, fue la inscripción y obtención de certificados de 630 plantaciones en el Registro de Plantaciones en aproximadamente 4 meses. Por otro lado, durante los años 2019 y 2020, se realizaron 85 asistencias técnicas en tratamientos silviculturales a plantaciones, así como 8 talleres a productores y técnicos forestales. Esta labor sirvió para que el gobierno regional formalizará la producción de madera de plantaciones, promoviendo su comercio legal. Finalmente, gracias a los tratamientos silviculturales, los propietarios de las plantaciones incrementaron sus ingresos económicos con la venta de madera y los productos del raleo.

This document is based on the development of professional activities to comply with the registry of forest plantations on the website of the National Registry of Plantations created by SERFOR, seeking the formal commercialization of wood and avoiding its illegal trade in the San Martín region. This activity aims to increase the productivity and legality of the forestry sector, showing updated information on plantations. To register the plantations, first of all the necessary field data were obtained to fill out the registration forms. In addition, technical assistance was provided in silvicultural treatments so that producers obtain a greater volume and good quality of wood. The most relevant result was the registration and obtaining of certificates for 630 plantations in the Plantations Registry in approximately 4 months. On the other hand, during the years 2019 and 2020, 85 technical assistance in silvicultural treatments was provided to plantations, as well as 8 workshops for producers and forestry technicians. This work served the regional government to formalize plantation timber production, promoting its legal trade. Finally, thanks to the silvicultural treatments, plantation owners increased their income from the sale of wood and thinning products.
