The use of bio-fertilizers in agriculture is one of the alternatives to adress the low availability of nutrients, such as is the case of the P in agricultural soils. In the present study, aims to assess the ability of the bacteria Rhizobium how solubilizing of P and its effect on growth, total biomass at flowering, grain yield and amount of N and P removed (mg/plant), using as a control crop beans Caraota(Phaseolus vulgaris L.). Bacteria of the same genus, which were isolated from bean nodules Caraota was usede for this process. Previously at laboratory level, these strains were characterized, purified, evaluated and then selected for their ability to solubilize tricalcium phosphate, was inoculated bean sedesCaraota(Phaseolus vulgaris L.) and were seeded in two types of soil (Entisol of Costa and Inceptisol of Forest) with different levels of P (200 and 0.100 ppm), using as a source phosphate rock. The variables evaluated were: increase in dry matter; content of N and P to flowering; formation and production of grain/plant; yield and content of N and P in the grain. The results show greater increases of dry matter and grain yield in the combined mixtures of strains C3= (C1-1R2C1+C3-1R2C1-2 and C4 = (C5-1R1C2-2+C6-1R2C2). The effectiveness of Rhizobium as solubilizer of P, dependent upon the presence of the P not available and physical-chemical characteristics of the soils evaluated, presenting greater solubilization of P in the soil Inceptisol acid.. In the soil Entisol Costa during the flowering stage, there was a greater increase in plant biomass, grain yield and content of N and P (mg/plant).
