The present researching task is focused to determine the water requirement of the potato crop from mathematical modeling that considers the influence on the biometric parameters using images captured by drone, lysimeters drainage and indirect methods for Solanum spp. in Riobamba-Ecuador. To achieve the objectives it was carried out on the Experimental Center of Irrigation (Centro Experimental de Riego) at Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo, Chimborazo province. For the study 3 full digital weather stations and 3 drainage lysimeters were used, and for determining the moisture content in the soil sphygmomanometers located in the root zone from 15, 30 and 45 cm depth were used. The implementation of the research was done by applying a complete randomized block desing with three treatments ( T1= application of irrigation depth measured by lysimeter,T2 = application of irrigation depth measure with type A tank, T3= application of the irrigation depth calculated by formula ) and three repetitions, ending with an analysis of variance 5 %. Using the methods shown,the comparison of calculating the evapotranspiration accumulated for each day was achieved. Overflights were performed with a repeat every 30 days after planting; making it a total of four sessions photo shots according tho the phases of the crop. It was possible to define Kc maps obtained by remote detection that show a useful description of the evapotranspiraton process during studied months, with a similarity between the characteristic curves for validation with the direct method of lysimeters and reference values found in the literatura. There is also an agreement between the values of Kc presented by remote sensing,stages of development and physiological processes of the plant It is concluded from the study three mathematical expressions suitable for their usage, and according to the available information, the more convenient one for use will be selected, decisions that depends upon the planned objective after and adjustment.
