The research included stability tests of new seven soybean lines developed at the University of Guayaquil Ecuador and a commercial variety as a witness; as well as, the study of the sustainability of the Agricultural Production Units that carry out the exploitation of the crop. Between the years 2015, 2016 and 2017 eight trials were planted in representative environments of the province of Los Ríos (cantons: Vinces, Puebloviejo, Babahoyo and Quevedo), an experimental design of randomized complete blocks with four repetitions was used, the variables were submitted to the analysis of the variance and to Tukey comparisons (p <0,05). In order to know the genetic stability, the model of additive main effects and multiplicative interaction (model AMMI) was used. At the end of the investigation, it was determined that the genotype So ITAV 7 was the highest yield, in comparison to the rest, as well as the one with the highest stability. In the sustainability analysis the information was collected with structured surveys, the formula proposed by Sarandón was applied to calculate each dimension. Under the context in which the research was conducted, it was determined that 100 percent of the Agricultural Production Units that produce soybean yield an Ecological Indicator (IK)> 2. The 65 percent a Sociocultural Indicator (ISC)> 2 and the 99 percent an Ecological indicator (IE)> 2. The 88 percent had a General Sustainability Index (IS Gen)> 2, which shows the sustainability of the soybean production system under the assumed multidimensional analysis method.
