The current study was carried out in Mirahuay town during September 2012 and January 2013. Mirahuay is located in Oyón Province, Lima Department. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of sewage sludge application in soil and plant growth tested in four crops: corn (Zea mays L.), (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) and radish (Raphanus sativus L.). Representative samples of sewage sludge were collected from the wastewater treatment plant using extended aeration (activated sludge). The sewage treatment plant is located at the Regatas Lima Club; 20.4 km Panamericana Sur Road. Sewage sludge treatments were prepared as follows: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% (T1, T2, T3 and T4). In addition, a control sample (T0) was prepared only with soil from the National Agrarian University - La Molina (UNALM). All treatments were replicated three times. Data were analyzed using the Agricolae package for the R system (R Core Team, 2012). Analysis of variance (ANVA) was used to evaluate the significance of each parameter (dry and wet weight). In addition, data were compared among different treatments using HSD Tukey test at the 95% confidence level.
