This research work evaluates the contribution on the mango supply variables and their real influence on the competitiveness of mango at the national level, affecting the productive, economic and commercial structure. In addition, it intends to make a contribution in terms of identifying the situation and factors that must be taken into account, thus allowing the application of strategies to improve competitiveness. In relation to profitability, mango cultivation in 2008 was 52.5%, showing considerable profitability and that could increase. This profitability is due to the implementation of innovative production techniques and the modality of transportation reflected in an increase in costs, especially for large companies that are mainly engaged in exporting the crop. There is also a marked trend towards export growth due to an increase in the consumption of fresh fruits; thus in 2016, the Netherlands occupies the first place as a destination market with 40% of the total volume of exported mango, next in importance the United States with 30%; then in the third place is England with 10%, in fourth place, Spain with 5% and finally Canada with 4% of the total. Likewise of the application of the model, the results of the output in Stata for the system of Simultaneous Equations in Two Stages (MC2E) has that the variables with greater significance (99 percent) in the model are represented by Quantity produced of mango in Piura, quantity of mango produced in Lambayeque, Gross Fixed Investment, Price of Insecticides and Price of fertilizers; those of medium significance (95 percent) represented by Price in the United States and the one of little significance represents the variable Wholesale Price.
