The objective of this study was to evaluate nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions in soils of cultivated pastures from San Francisco of Chichausiri, an Agrarian Cooperative in the Department of Junín, Peru, during the dry season. Two treatments were experimentally evaluated, with and without urine, to measure flux emissions of N2O in 16 flow chambers during 34 days of experimentation in August and September 2017. Environmental, physical-chemical factors with higher influence on N2O emissions such as temperature, density, porous space filled with water (EPLLA), ammonium (NH4) and nitrate (NO3) were also evaluated. Gas samples were collected in emptied vials obtained from closed flow chambers, which later were sent to the Nutritional Biochemistry Laboratory of the Animal Science College at La Molina National Agrarian University, for gas chromatography assessment. Significant differences (P <0.05) were found in mean cumulative flux emissions per flow chamber where 427.34 mg of N-N2O / m2 and 92.78 mg N-N2O / m2 were the numbers found for with and without urine treatments respectively. Likewise, a high and positive correlation of the N2O emission was identified with the NH4 concentration (r = 0.9). The flow of N2O emission for the urine treatment was 4.6 higher than the without urine treatment.
