The research was based on the use of GreenSeeker device to dose the second fertilization in the hard yellow corn crop DK-7088, according to the protocol of the Oklahoma's University. The INSEY index was inserted in the formula obtained for the central coast, specifically in a field of the Agricultural Farm of the University Agraria la Molina, generating nitrogen doses for each treatment. The amounts ranged from 0 kg ha-1 to 25 kg ha-1 of urea fertilizer as a result of the statistical analysis, the null hypothesis (H0) was accepted, where the yields did not show a difference between them. This proved that the use of GreenSeeker optimizes the use of nitrogen fertilizer (Urea), homogenizing the yields of the applied treatments, ranging from 5.8 to 6.9 t ha-1 . Likewise, a production cost table was built with which it was possible to obtain the savings of the labor and fertilizer cost variables. This savings was used to obtain profitability with the use of the GreenSeeker device for the farmer from 2017 to 2020 in areas of Lima´s province, generating a higher percentage of profitability when using the GreenSeeker that was between 20 to 30 percent higher than when not to use the device.
