This paper is based on the experience of a 60 hectare blueberry plantation, located in “Pampa de Villacurí”, province of Ica. The purpose is to establish criteria for harvest and qualitymanagement of blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.) cv. Biloxi for agro-export. Here, it was concluded that the temperature is one of the factors that cause losses due to dehydration of the berries, being susceptible to temperatures of approximately 30°C; as well as the high relative humidity in the winter months that stimulate the development of pathogens such as botrytis cinerea that causes flower drop, fruit drop and rot, also affects yield since plants usually wake up wet, delaying the start of harvest. For posharvest management, the blueberry fruit process does not present complications when working at temperatures from -0.1°C to 0°C and relative humidity greater than 80%, where maintaining these temperature and humidity characteristics throughout the process prevents spoilage of the finished product.
