The present work deals with the development of the improvement proposal for the problems associated with the process of attending credit applications of the Medium-sized Business Banking segment of a banking entity. This process is the most important as it determines 42% of the segment's total income. Its problem lies in the time lag in the attention of credit applications, which exceeds by 2 days, on average, what is expected. For the development of the improvement proposal, the first milestone will begin, which consists of detailing the current situation of the process and identifying the causes associated with the problem. Next, as a second milestone, the automation and digitization of the process is proposed, through the development of a web application and the acquisition of a digital platform. This in order to optimize resources, increase productivity, generate greater efficiency and eliminate activities that do not generate value. Finally, the benefits of the proposal will be evidenced, at a qualitative and quantitative level. At a qualitative level, a better perception of quality of the service will be obtained and greater customer satisfaction will be evidenced. At a quantitative level, a greater use of lines, a lower number of claims and an increase in the level of income of the ecosystem will be obtained.
