It is known that a considerable percentage of contagions, infections of different diseases is transmitted by indirect contact; that is, not from person to person, on the contrary, this is done by an inanimate object and one of the most frequent is the medical uniform one, better known as scrub. The final product to be manufactured has antimicrobial, antiseptic and antiallergic properties, which have been acquired by means of silver nanoparticles that have been impregnated to the fabric with which they are confected. In addition, this seeks to position itself below the prices under which these are sold today. To make this possible, a research work has been carried out using various engineering tools among others to be able to determine the viability of the installation of a production plant for this product. As the main findings, the necessary investment is 1 438 625 soles, for a production capacity of 56 137 scrubs / year. The production plant will be located in the district of Chilca, in the province of Cañete. In addition, for the economic evaluation a positive NPV of 1 673 018 soles and an IRR of 47% will be obtained; and in the financial scenario NPV of 1 788 963 soles and an IRR of 75%. Regarding the social impact, this is positive since 52 jobs are created and there is a capital intensity of 0.17.
