This study was conducted in order to determine the commercial, technical, economic and financial feasibility of implementing a production plant of lens frames based on recycled plastic pellets with interchangeable rods, reducing the improper management of solid waste, contributing to sustainable development and generating jobs. Additionally, we hope to promote the creation of recycling programs by the state and private companies A market study was carried out, on which was established that the target population is between 18 and 55 years old of socioeconomic levels B and C and the average demand of the project in the next 5 years will be 35 867 sets. For this purpose, there will be a 330 m2 plant located in El Agustino – Lima with 15 employees in the operational area and 7 in the administrative area. After studying the market, productive resources, technology and break-even point, it was concluded that the size of the plant will be 39 125 units per year. Later, the engineering of the project was developed, where it was determined technically how the product will be and how fundamental the injection machine is for the process, for this reason, preventive maintenance will be performed on the machines to fulfill the production program. In addition, each operation was analyzed to ensure compliance with environmental, quality and safety regulations For this project, an investment of S/469 961,30 was valued, consisting of 40% financing through the BBVA bank for 5 years. Furthermore, an economic NPV and IRR of S/766 261,65 y 58,76% respectively were obtained, as well as a financial NPV and IRR of S/793 406,57 y 84,41%, which make it attractive and profitable for the private investor.
