The present research work will study whether the use of Blockchain, in the labeling of bee honey, influences the consumer's purchase decision and in what way this application impacts on the perceived value of the consumer towards the product. In the first chapter, a detailed explanation of the problem situation will be given to define the general problem and the specific ones; followed by the objectives, both general and specific. In the following chapter, there will be an extensive literature review (State of the Art) of articles and research from indexed journals and theses, both national and international, from recognized academic repositories that contribute to the research. Subsequently, based on all the information obtained in relation to the topic of study, the general and specific hypotheses will be determined, each one with its variables and indicators to start with the field work. Therefore, a representative sample of 246 people who buy honey more than 3 times a year, belonging to zones 6, 7 and 8 of Metropolitan Lima, with an age range of 20 to 50 years, will be used. Additionally, 10 in-depth interviews will be conducted with experts in Blockchain, bee honey production, honey sales and marketing, and consumer behavior. Finally, with the findings obtained, it will be possible to answer the hypotheses raised, as conclusions. Likewise, recommendations will be made that will be useful to increase the accuracy of the results and determine how the Blockchain could have more influence on the purchase decision of a honey consumer.
