This project consists of commercializing uniforms with UV protection, anti-mosquito, and anti-bacterial properties for workers in the agroexport sector. Agroexport companies employ around 90 000 workers, who constantly face a series of complications during their workdays. These inconveniences are mainly the strong rays of the sun, the frequent harassment of mosquitoes and the dirt and bacteria that adhere to their work clothes. Under the mentioned context, we seek to provide companies with the solution to the above mentioned problems of their workers by offering a uniform (pants and shirt) with UV protection properties, an anti-mosquito finish that repels these insects and allows the worker to work more comfortably and an anti-bacterial agent one that keeps them away from any disease that can be contracted by the same bacteria. The uniform is made of a denim fabric that was previously impregnated with each of these properties and is imported from Colombia. Throughout the project, the potential and project demand, the location of the garment workshop, the micro level and the frame level, and the optimal size of the workshop will be determined. A chapter focused on the engineering of the project, including studies to measure the time it takes to make a uniform, how many workers are needed, how many machines, the layout of the workshop and its distribution, among other studies. The organizational structure of the company will be determined and finally it will be verified, through an economic, financial, and social analysis, if the project is viable.
