The society is changing its habits due to the current situation, using more disinfectants in its daily routine and now having a culture that is more concerned with disinfection. This change in behavior in people allows an opportunity to satisfy a need using a disinfectant device that dispenses ozone gas. Due to this, the pre-feasibility study of an innovative product in the Peruvian market is proposed, which is an ozone gun for disinfection of people. In order to implement this product, the objectives, goals and scope must be set in order to verify at the end of the project if the established goals could be achieved. A market study will be carried out in order to determine the area of people who will consume the product. Additionally, the target demand will be determined based on the market segmentation criteria that are related to the product. Then, the location of the plant will be chosen, both in the macro and microenvironment, which the location resulted in the department of Lima and the district of Los Olivos. The engineering aspects of the project will be evaluated, which confirm that with an investment of S /. 2 829 142 the project can be implemented. The economic results of the project show a VAN of S/ 4 891 661 and a TIR of 60%, and the financial results show a VAN of S/ 5 009 283 and a TIR of 88%, so it is concluded that the project is viable. Due to all the benefits that ozone provides, such as being one of the best disinfectants today, the installation of an industrial plant is proposed for the manufacture of a production plant for an ozone gun.
