This research is titled “Pre-feasibility study for the installation of a self-generating electric bicycle plant with solar panel.“ This idea arose to give an alternative to people who want to move around the capital, so this study was carried out to demonstrate the feasibility of the project. We propose the electric bicycle as a means of transportation that provides a solution to the problem of vehicular chaos in Lima, and it would also be possible to recharge the battery using a solar panel, to be completely friendly to the environment. Lately in the scenario triggered by the covid-19, the authorities have developed projects to promote the use of bicycles. In the case of Lima, the entity in charge of urban transport decided to implement an integrated network of cycle paths, building new sections to connect the existing ones, increasing from 142 km of existing cycle paths to 301 km. The general objective of our research is to determine the market, technical, economic, financial, and social feasibility for the installation of a production plant for self-generating energy bicycles with solar panel for urban use.
