The main objective of this research is to determine the technological, social, economic and financial viability of the installation of an ambulatory surgery only clinic located in the Lima Metropolitan area. This research will use the necessary tools and methodologies to obtain the relevant indicators that will allow to objectively measure the project’s viability. In Perú, it is often necessary for a patient to go through a lengthy process just to be admitted to a hospital or private clinic, in the hopes of being operated on. Most of these interventions are, in fact, minor and ambulatory surgeries, in which the patient can go home the same day they are intervened. An ambulatory only clinic service betters the quality of life of any potential patient and presents an attractive investment to its shareholders because of the low cost of daily operations, because of this, it also presents an attractive service to any potential patient due to the low cost of the surgeries in comparison to a surgery done in a traditional clinic. The first chapter of this investigation will mention the general aspects of the project, the following chapter will explain the strategies applied to the market research, the third chapter will go in detail about choosing the ideal location of the clinic, the fourth chapter will define the prime size for the clinic’s operation, the capacity and engineering of the project is explained in the fifth chapter, the following chapter explains the company’s organization structure, finally, chapters seven and eight use the project’s budget to economically and socially evaluate it, respectively.
