Nonwoven felt is made from sugarcane bagasse. The latter is a by-product that is currently used as fuel or is considered waste. The emissions generated by the burning of this by-product further contribute to the pollution of the atmosphere, affecting nearby localities. Therefore, the objective of this project is to demonstrate that the production of non-woven felt is feasible using this by-product. The demand for the project was determined based on the historical EIS, the market segmentation and the intention and intensity values obtained through a survey of the final buyer. Current supply and potential competitors were similarly evaluated. It was determined that the location of the production plant will be in the industrial zone of Villa el Salvador, Lima. In choosing this location, we took into account the availability of raw materials, labor, water and electricity, proximity to major markets, public safety, availability of industrial parks, and availability of land. It was determined that the installed capacity of the plant, based on machinery and operators, is 869 200,96 kg/year, which allows us to meet production requirements. In this same chapter we also determined the total area of the plant, which is 3 559,14 m2. The organizational structure of the plant was also determined, with a total of 6 administrative workers and 17 operators per shift, as well as the training and organizational culture to be implemented in the organization. The costs and expenses of the plant were determined to calculate the total investment, which is S/ 11 641 276,88. Of this amount, 73,85% will be financed, while 26,15% will be financed by the company's own contribution. Finally, the social evaluation of the project and its respective social indicators were determined. The aggregate value of the project is S/ 24 393 697,85 for the last year.
