The inhabitants of Peru show interest in receiving nutritional information on the products they consume, as well as in following a healthy diet. (Internacional, 2014) It is in this favorable scenario, for the launch of new products that meet the demands of this growing market, that a new alternative arises. For this reason, the present research work studies the feasibility in the technical, economic-financial, social and market areas for the installation of a plant that produces flakes based on quinoa flour, rice, with chia seeds, sea salt. and paprika bagged with a quantity of 28 grams. This will be sold through supermarkets, stores and vending machines at a price of S / 1.2. The final consumer may purchase at S / 1.8. The population of Metropolitan Lima is the market, in socioeconomic levels B and C, aimed at people between 13 and 55 years old. The growing demand for the snack is calculated, reaching 111,128 kg in year 5 of the project. The company will be located in Ate due to the availability of land, proximity to raw materials and low cost of industrial land. The size of the plant is defined by the market of the last year, which is 111,128 kg, the other factors are not limiting. Once the Guerchet study and relational analysis have been carried out, the result is an area of 221.5 ¿2 . The estimated investment amounts to S / 954,615, a figure that considers the tangible and intangible fixed investment, as well as the working capital. According to the previous analysis of the project, an economic NPV of S / 398,918 is obtained, with an IRR of 32.51%, and a financial NPV of S /. 488,483 and IRR of 59.27%, showing that it is viable.
