The main objective of the following pre-feasibility study is to determine the technological, economic, social, environmental and financial feasibility for the installation of a natural cabuya fiber sack production plant for grain packaging. The market study with the analysis of the demand and supply of the project determined that the main buyers are exporters of coffee and cocoa beans, with this information the demand for the last year of the project was estimated at 422 475 sacks. The macro and micro location analysis determined the location of the plant, which had the highest score in the city of Huancavelica, with a total plant area of 1 200 m2, the limiting factor being the size of the market. The economic and financial evaluation of the project obtained a total investment amount of S/. 1 444 664; a financing percentage of 45%, equivalent to S/. 650 099, and the remaining 55% of equity capital is S/.794 565. Working capital amounts to S/. 420 407. In addition, the Economic NPV is S/ 3 663 898 and the finantial NPV is S/.3 743 361. The rates of return (IRR) are higher than the opportunity cost (COK=10,26%), the economic EIRR is 66% and the finantial FIRR is 96%.
