The present work supports the feasibility of an oil production plant based on moringa seeds (moringa oleifera), in view of the current problem in the excessive consumption of edible oils, high levels of cholesterol and fats that are harmful to health. The product is characterized by providing great health benefits, by providing high amounts of protein, vitamins, amino acids and, above all, it can prevent diseases and heart problems. In the same way, a market study was carried out in which the need for this type of product could be seen reflected. Above all, in the selected population (people from Metropolitan Lima of NSE A and B between 18-59 years old); with which a demand for the project of 14 691,28 liters of moringa seed oil was obtained by 2027. In addition, the province of Chilca in the department of Lima was determined as the ideal location to establish the production plant, having stood out in the main factors required such as proximity to the raw material, the market and accessibility to the necessary services for its implementation and operation. Likewise, its optimal size could be determined based on the projected demand, as there were no limitations to cover said requirement in its entirety. On the other hand, it was determined that the production process will be focused on the cold pressing of the raw material, which after technical analysis and according to the high preference for totally natural products, will not include any type of chemical or additive that facilitates the extraction. of the oil to avoid any alteration in its composition. In addition, a minimum production area of 57,77 m2 was calculated through the “Guerchet“ method which will have a capacity of 15 992,96 liters of moringa oil per year. Finally, its economic and financial viability was determined based on a loan of 40% of the total investment of S/ 447 988,34 and the rest as equity. Likewise, a NPV of S/ 881 678,00 and an IRR of 63,56% were obtained with respect to the economic flow of funds and a NPV of S/915 442,95 and an IRR of 85,16% for the financial flow of funds; being the NPV greater than zero and the IRR greater than the opportunity cost (COK) of 18,78% in both cases.
