The subjetc of the present reasearch work is a prefeasibility study for the installation of an eco - friendly toilet soap production plant base on used cooking oil, which aims to mitigate the environmental impact and due to the current situation, COVID 19, generates a stricter cleaning habit in the daily use of personal higiene products. (Ipsos, 2020, págs. 29-32) In chapter I, the general aspects of the project were mentioned, such as the objectives, the economic, technical and social justification, hypothesis and referential framework, in which both similarities and differences of the documents reviewed are shown. In chapter II, the market study was developed considering its segmentation, where 384 surveys were carried out, thus determining a purchase acceptance of 96.40%. Where, the geographic area that the study will cover will be Metropolitan Lima. Likewise, the projected demand for 2026 will be 684 236 units of eco-friendly soap. The macroenvironment analysis was carried out, in which it was possible to know that the industrial sector of cosmetics and personal hygiene is showing a growth trend, which turns out to be favorable given external factors, the opportunities that arise and threats that may be mitigated by having prior knowledge of them. In chapter III, the district of Ate Vitarte, located in the city of Lima, was selected as the optimal location for the plant. While in the chapter IV, the size of the plant was defined, which will be delimited by the market. The mentioned results were obtained because of various analyzes and engineering methods used. In chapter V, the engineering aspects of the project were detailed in detail. In this, the technical specifications, and necessary requirements for the elaboration of eco friendly soaps were presented, as well as the production processes, machinery, among other points necessary to guarantee an optimal elaboration. In chapter VI, an analysis of the functions of the personnel was carried out, which made it possible to structure the organization chart of Destí. Finally, in chapters VII and VIII, the economic, financial, and social evaluations were carried out with their respective indicators. In the case of the economic and financial evaluation, the indicators obtained were a NPVE of S /. 855,600 and NPVF of S /. 893,482as well as an IIRE of 60% and an IRRF of 85%. In addition to other indicators such as cost benefit and payback period. Finally, in the case of the social evaluation, indicators such as the capital density of 37,834 soles / employee, a capital intensity of 0.07, the labor productivity of 75,201 units per operator and the capital product ratio were obtained of 8.08.
