Abstract: La finalidad del estudio presentado consiste en determinar de qué manera influye la
discriminación de género en la violencia familiar contra las mujeres en la Comunidad Campesina
Pillao Matao - Cusco. La metodología responde al enfoque cualitativo, nivel explicativa -
descriptiva, tipo de investigación socio jurídica, diseño no experimental, la unidad de estudio
fueron mujeres de la Comunidad Campesina de Pillao Matao y el Gerente de la Gerencia de
Desarrollo Humano y Social. Finalmente, los resultados señalan que las mujeres de la
Comunidad Campesina de Pillao Matao, sólo deben realizar actividades delicadas, asimismo, que
dentro de la comunidad nunca asistieron a programas de igualdad de género, también se sienten
más propensas a sufrir violencia por ser mujeres, las mujeres fueron lastimadas en algún
momento de sus vidas, sufrieron agresiones por sus padres, hermanos y esposos. Se concluye
que, la discriminación de género influye de manera significativa en la violencia familiar contra
las mujeres en la Comunidad Campesina Pillao Matao - Cusco, en vista de que existen
desigualdades en las familias y la sociedad.
The purpose of the study presented is to determine how gender discrimination influences family violence against women in the Pillao Matao Rural Community - Cusco. The methodology responds to the qualitative approach, explanatory - descriptive level, type of socio-legal research, non-experimental design, the study unit was women from the Pillao Matao Rural Community and the Manager of the Human and Social Development Management. Finally, the results indicate that the women of the Pillao Matao Rural Community should only carry out delicate activities, likewise, that within the community they never attended gender equality programs, they also feel more prone to suffer violence for being a woman, the women were hurt at some point in their lives, suffered attacks by their fathers, brothers and husbands. It is concluded that gender discrimination significantly influences family violence against women in the Pillao Matao Peasant Community - Cusco, given that there are inequalities in families and society.
