The purpose of the study was to know the Impact of nutritional status and metabolic risk factors in relation to access to fast food and level of physical activity in officials of the Municipal Palace of Miraflores. The study was applied type, Explanatory Level, Observational - Descriptive Correlation, and cross - sectional. The study sample consisted of 91 adults between 18 and 59 years of age, between the ages of 18 and 35 years (29%), and between the ages of 36 and 59 (71%), Municipal Palace officials in the year 2017. The variables for this study are Nutritional Status, Metabolic Syndrome Factors, Physical Activity Level and Food Habits, The Chi-Square statistical test was applied, which related if there is a close relationship between the development of metabolic risk factors with access to fast foods and occupational sedentary lifestyle, not finding a significant impact (p-value: 0.611). We conclude that access to the fast food center and the level of physical activity is not a significant factor in the nutritional status and development of metabolic syndrome in the population studied.
