This research work establishes the links that exist between the development of the learning styles of children in the III cycle of primary education with reading comprehension. For this, the most truthful and reliable sources that configure the learning style were used, such as Howard and Gardner, Honey and Mumford, Entwistle and Schmenck and Bandler and Grinder, who highlight the diverse learning styles of boys and girls. Likewise, information prescribed by the Ministry of Education of Peru was consulted, according to the cycle mentioned above, and the current development process of reading comprehension in the country, this problematic starting point for the development of research due to the great deficit that it presents. The proposal is to present a great variety of some methodological strategies that can be reviewed and put into practice within the framework of the planning and development of learning experiences in the classroom by the teacher, considering the diversity of learning styles that may introduce your students. The objective is to promote and achieve the optimal development of skills and performances according to the corresponding cycle and curricular areas, such as mathematics, science, social staff, tutoring, among others; giving greater emphasis to the competence of reading comprehension the area of communication in consideration of the diverse learning styles of the learners, which are described throughout the research so that the results are outstanding and can contribute to the improvement of the country.
