The study determined the relationship between lifestyles and nutritional status according to cardiovascular risk in a population working at Adolfo Guevara Velasco-Cusco Hospital, from April to June 2016. The study was descriptive correlational, and cross-sectional. One hundred five adults of both sexes participated to know their lifestyles according to the Fantastic survey, their nutritional status through anthropometric and dietary methods, in addition to the cardiovascular risk measured by waist circumference. A database was structured in SPSS; the relationship of variables was estimated with the Chi-square test. The results indicated that 23,8% of the population has adequate lifestyles, 67,6% somewhat low, 1,9% danger and only 6,7% qualified in the categories of good work and congratulations, inappropriate lifestyles reached the group of 39 years or less with 72,8% and the male sex with 85.7%. Of the total evaluated, 38.1% were overweight and 23% obese, finding that the group of 40 to 49 years and the female sex have malnutrition by excess greater than 60%. The 89,5% have an inadequate intake, and only 10,5% have an adequate intake, no differences were found by sex and age group. 70,4% presented a cardiovascular risk, the percentages increase with age and is higher in women. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between lifestyles with the nutritional status of health personnel without cardiovascular risk (p=0,694) and cardiovascular risk (p=0,645).
