This research was carried out with the objective of analyzing the meaning of life in a group of teachers, who teach students with individual educational needs, at a personalized school in Metropolitan Lima. The interest in this population is based on the premise that the overload of their work leaves them very little time for personal activities and rest, situations that could trigger greater physical and emotional vulnerability in them. But, those whose meaning of life is this commitment will have greater satisfaction and the necessary strength to face these difficulties. This research was carried out applying the qualitative method and a hermeneutical phenomenological design. The sample consisted of 8 teachers selected in a convenience sampling and the instrument used was a semi-structured interview created ad hoc. The results show that the interviewed teachers have a high expression of noetic resources, in each of their manifestations, both of self-detachment and self-transcendence, carrying out their sense of life, through giving quality time to their family, generating happiness to those who surround them, or help those who need it and identify their current work as their main contribution in life.
