The present study entitled Impact of preventive workshop AIDS does not decide“ on high school students in Lima. is aimed at knowing the level of information on HIV-AIDS. This research was transactional descriptive with a pretest and post-test called How much you Know about HIV-AIDS?“ Which is aimed at assessing the level of knowledge in four areas: Prevention, Treatment, Transmission and Diagnosis. It is worthy to distinguish that this questionnaire is adapted from the test of learning applied to the study by the regional office of education of UNESCO for Latin America and the Caribbean in his work entitled project on mainstreaming HIV-AIDS prevention in teacher education. For this research we had a sample with 21maleand female students which are studying at 3rd grade in high school who applied for the pretest, the workshop and the posttest. The workshop “AIDS does not decide“ Presented eight sessions and was programmed under the guidelines of the active work oriented methodology and the four aspects containing the test used. The results obtained in the pretest was 52.38% which were in a good outcome level but 47.62% in an unsuccessful level. After the sessions of the workshop 4.76% in an unsuccessful level but 95.24% were in a successful one. That means 20 out of 21 students are in a good learning level, showing that the workshop fulfils the objective of increasing level of HIV-AIDS learning.
