This investigation was carried out with the objective of observing, evaluating and analyzing the results of the 72 measurements of the dry density of the soil made in the field obtained by the Sand Cone methods and the GeoGauge method. We first evaluate the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of the soil, which is a granular material for the base of the Chimpahuaylla quarry. Then he made the 6 trenches of 80 centimeters wide by 2.40 meters long and a thickness of 30 centimeters in a study area located in Huasao - Saylla. The moisture content of the soil in percentages of 4.0% to 5.5%; 5.5% - 7.5%; 7.5% - 9.5% controlled by the humidity test with speed, the slope of 0%; two%; 4% and granulometry of the soil with the presence of greater gravel and the soil with the presence of greater gravel. The nets are compacted with a vertical type (type of kangaroo) obtaining a homogeneous surface and with the appropriate conditions. To perform the dry density tests of the compacted soil, 3 measurements were taken with the GeoGauge method for each measurement with the sand cone method in a total of 12 tests per trench, therefore, we take the data obtained in the field by both methods and we process the data obtained by the GeoGauge method in the HM DATA software, as well as the density by the sand cone method to perform the comparative analysis with the results obtained from both methods In the research thesis according to the comparative analysis, a maximum variation of 5% was obtained between both methods and humidity being the most incident factor in the results.
