The present thesis has investigated the percentage of similarity that exists between the results of the measurement of the surface regularity of the pavement of the Cusco - Urcos road; Using the Roadroid application with respect to the MERLIN Roughness Meter, the difference of the results obtained, the advantages of using the Roadroid application with respect to the MERLIN Roughness Meter, the serviciabilidad of the pavement, and the comparison of surface regularity of both lanes. Both teams measure the surface regularity of pavements, but the Roadroid application is presented as a new and innovative tool in the market and the MERLIN Roughness Meter is a widely known and used equipment in our Region and according to the World Bank is characterized as one of the most accurate and recommended equipments to calibrate other equipment. In order to carry out this investigation, the surface regularity of the Cusco – Urcos road was measured using the Roadroid application and the MERLIN Roughness meter, then was the processing of data for results and further analysis. Concluding that the results obtained with the Roadroid application has a similarity of 89% with respect to the MERLIN Roughness meter. Therefore, the Roadroid application is a tool that can be used to determine the surface regularity of pavements since it provides data of the surface regularity in an efficient way, that is to say that larger sections can be studied in a short time and with fewer resources and the best that does not need time for data processing compared to the MERLIN Roughness Meter which is a low-performance equipment for both data collection and processing.
