The Ancylostoma caninum, an intestinal parasite that affects dogs and can be transmitted to humans, was the subject of study in this research. The aim was to determine the prevalence of Ancylostoma canis in domestic dogs from the AAHH Las Pampas district, located in Belén, in the department of Maynas. The methodology involved distributing fecal samples from dogs in different areas for sample selection. These samples were analyzed using fecal parasitological flotation, using a saturated sugar solution or a plug to detect Ancylostoma canis eggs. The results revealed that 60% of all sampled dogs tested positive for Ancylostoma canis, while 40% tested negative. In summary, a relatively high prevalence of Ancylostoma caninum was found in the AAHH Las Pampas district of Belén, indicating that more than half of the dogs are infected with this nematode
