The objective of the research was to determine if the adoption of endomarketing as a competitive strategy in small and medium-sized companies becomes of utmost importance. The methodology was descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional. The population and sample consisted of 86 workers from five companies to whom the survey was applied. The results regarding the general objective revealed that a significant proportion of respondents consider ergonomics at work to be important (72.7%), as well as environmental conditions (63.6%) and attention to work needs (71.2%). Additionally, interest in economic incentive strategies (53%) and a strong sense of identification with job functions (54.5%) stands out. An importance attributed to interpersonal integration (60.6%) and the level of integration activity promoted by the company (43.9%) was also observed. These perceptions suggest the relevance of these areas for job satisfaction and productivity, as well as integration to improve labor relations and the importance of work in the company are highly valued by employees in the city of Iquitos. These findings suggest that employee loyalty may depend more on interpersonal relationships and appreciation of their roles in the company, rather than on financial incentives. These findings are relevant to considering loyalty as a factor when implementing endomarketing strategies in these companies.
