The objective of this study was to determine the physiotherapy treatment and its incidence in meniscus injuries in young patients between 30 and 50 years’ old who are treated at the Loreto Regional Hospital. The research methodology is a basic type of descriptive, correlational and non-experimental designs where the effects of the variable are examined. The sample was made up of 80 patients of both sexes between the ages of 30 and 50. The data collection technique provided by the aforementioned institutions was used, the study variables were sex, age, type of meniscus and cause. To process the data obtained, the programs, descriptive statistics, EXCEL, and SPSS were used. With analysis of the results, the following findings were reached: Table No. 2 shows the prevalence of this disease of 62% of males and 38% of females. Table No. 3 shows that according to age, this condition is more prevalent in patients whose ages range from 45 and 50 years, in table No. 5 it can be seen that in the present study a prevalence of meniscus injury of 100% was found, with this being 80 patients of the total evaluated, in table No. 6 according to the cause believed that caused a meniscus injury, 53% stated that they suffered a sprain, 5% said it was caused by a sedentary lifestyle, in table No. 14, according to the type of meniscus injury, it is observed that there is a greater prevalence in the type of horizontal injury (50%).
